Corporations taxes cutback in Portugal

The Finance Minister of Portugal, Victor Gaspar, is planning lowering the Portuguese corporations tax to 10%, from 2014 onwards, in order to boost the Portuguese economy.

A think tank has been created by the Portuguese government to establish the best strategy to implement that tax lowering, bearing in mind that the European Union, led by Germany, opposes any lowering of corporation taxes below a certain value, anywhere in the Euro Zone.
